He could be considered one, because he has some of the aspects of one, such as a strong sense of arrogance, a high level of intelligence, dark attributes in character, self-destructive behavior, and the appearance of an outcast to the social norm. These are just some reasons, what does everyone else think?
Another thing could possibly be that he seems to be wandering as if in search of something. He seems as if he does... why else would he still feed his thirst. This "thing" could possibly be love. After all he lets Mina feed on his blood in order to share himself (having trouble describing the occurrence). Oh and he also seems very self conscious...
No, I don't really consider Dred acula a byronic hero in my opinion. He's just a warm-hearted villian at the beginning who suddenly shows his true colors. Why would Dracula be considered a byronic hero in the first place? Dracula is an antogonist. That's it.
YES, that is a good point. i never thought of that, he is brilliant and has a lot of charm,but he is very devious and cynical! THe whole hero part of him kind of like does not describe him because he only worries about himself.
